  • Cheerleaders at a night club is equally ridiculous - and I'd have just as much of a problem if my child were taken by her coach to a night club. That's idiotic. How did she think that would be ok, in a million years? Tell me THAT coach is being disciplined! Please!

  • But see - that's the thing, Herringr - Baptism is merely a symbol to you - but to a Catholic it is a Sacrament, and so much more. And he was already Baptized. He had that grace. He was already part of the Body of Christ, and part of His Church.

  • The reason that things like harassment by coaches and employers are illegal is because the coach or the boss are in a perceived position of power and authority, and thus have undue influence on the person they are interacting with.

  • The boy is Catholic - therefore he was ALREADY baptised, probably as an infant. I know that Baptists hate the concept, but that's just the way it is.
